Michael Trumbower

Michael TrumbowerMichael's father Earl taught him the joys of nature as a young boy. Growing up he and his brothers spent their free time fishing, hunting, and observing wild places and wildlife. Although he graduated with a degree from Colgate University, his passion for wild places drove him west where he landed a job as camp cook at a hunting camp in the Teton Wilderness. For the last 27 years Mike has been working hunting camps during the fall. The past 25 years he's been a guide leading hunters through timber, and atop mountains looking for the elusive bull elk. Mike drove a horse team on the National Elk Refuge for 14 years; fed and calved cows at a local ranch for more than a dozen years; is an active volunteer firefighter in his 20th year; and now looks to his 12th year of guiding snowmobiles this winter. Mike is a veteran guide on all trips cooking a perfect steak lunch at Granite Hot Springs, playing in the powder at Togwotee, and leading an educational trip into Yellowstone, he does it all and does it well.

Julie Johnston

Julie JohnstonJulie has lived in Jackson Hole for 26 years and has spent the last 17winters guiding snowmobile trips. She has also spent several summers running pack trips into the Teton Wilderness. She also owns and operates a pet grooming business "All About Pets". In the snowmobile arena, Julie's specialty is multi-day, overnight trips into Yellowstone National Park and the Teton National Forest. Whether it's a one day excursion or four day adventure, Julie's extensive knowledge of the geo-thermal features, and history of the area promise to make for a memorable trip.

Mike McCloud

Mike McCloudMike has been in Jackson Hole working ski patrol, snowmobiling and running river trips for over a decade. Mike has guided commercial raft trips on 3 different rivers for 17 years and counting, been on the Snow King Ski Patrol for over 10 years, and has been guiding commercial snowmobile tours for over 5 years. Mike has an AAS Degree in Business, and is a NOLS Graduate. He currently holds an Outdoor Emergency Care Certificate and is a member of the National Ski Patrols Pro Division.

Jason Williams

Jason WilliamsJason has been teaching outdoor skills and guiding adventure based trips for over ten years. His field of experience includes caving, rock climbing, backpacking, canoeing, snowmobiling, and whitewater rafting. Jason has 7 years experience guiding river trips on the Snake River and 7 years experience guiding snowmobile tours, giving him an in depth knowledge of the area. Jason is a former E.M.T. who is currently a Wilderness First Responder, has his Level 2 avalanche certification through AAI and is a PADI Divemaster. Jason has a B.S. Degree in Geography and is the Owner/Operator of Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris. Mark WellardBorn just a ways away in Idaho and having lived in the Jackson Hole area for 22 years, I know how to make the most of the great outdoors. With over 12 years experience guiding fly-fishing trips on the river, back-country hunting camps, and snowmobiling all over, I know this country like the back of my hand. Jay Kirby

Jay KirbyJay moved to Jackson 7 years ago to fulfill his Architect and photography degree. His greatest passion in life includes everything outdoors. He is an avid hunter, fly fisherman, snowmobiler, motocross rider, bicycler, skier and anything that pushes the limits of adrenalin. Jay's summers growing up were spent at his family's lodge in Cooke City MT (NE entrance of Yellowstone) He is extremely knowledgeable with the wildlife, landscapes and history of the National parks. When Jay is not able to be out playing in the snow he is giving summer sunset/sunrise Teton Park trips and full day wildlife safaris to Yellowstone National Park. Jay has spent many years providing guests the trip of a lifetime snowmobiling through deep powder in the Togwotee Mountain range to a day of laughter, great stories and experiences through Yellowstone National Park.

Scott EdwardsBorn in southeast Michigan, Scott moved to Jackson Hole in the spring of 1992. Scott has 13 years of experience guiding snowmobiles, and has ridden more than 125,000 miles in the Greater Yellowstone Area. Scott enjoys watching all sports, and plays competitive softball. In summer, he works as a professional river guide on the Snake in Grand Teton National Park. He enjoys sharing his knowledge of the valley with visitors. He loves spending time with his wife, Johanna, of 12 years, and daughter, Desi, 3. Born in southeast Michigan, Scott moved to Jackson Hole in the spring of 1992. Bob Barlow

Bob BarlowWyoming native, Bob Barlow began his guiding career in the Yellowstone backcounty in 1982. He has been guiding snowmobile tours in Yellowstone since 1989. Bob spent twenty years guiding fly fishing trips as well as scenic and whitewater float trips on the Snake River. Summer and fall finds Bob guiding trail rides, horse pack trips and big game hunters. In his off time he enjoys writing outdoor articles and studying Western and Native American history.
